– Sapphire WW Carotid Stenting and Angioplasty with Protection in Patients at High-Risk for Endarterectomy

-Objective: The primary objective of this study is to estimate 30-day MAE rate of stenting (any death, stroke or any MI) with distal protection in the treatment of obstructive carotid artery disease in high-surgical risk patients with atherosclerotic disease of the carotid artery(ies). The devices to be utilized are the Cordis PRECISE Nitinol Stent Systems, the Cordis ANGIOGUARD™ XP/RX Emboli Capture Guidewire (ECGW) and next generation Cordis carotid stents and EPDs as they become commercially available.

Balloon Angioplasty for Treatment of Femoropopliteal Arteries

-Objective: The purpose of this research study is to investigate if the treatment of narrowed leg blood vessels with the Moxy Drug Coated Balloon is safe and beneficial. Another purpose of this study is to find out about the long-term financial costs of using the Moxy Drug Coated Balloon compared to the costs of usual care for narrowed leg vessels.
